Kennebunk Savings Bank wanted to create a building that unified several of its divisions, thus creating the Financial Center Building. The challenge was to integrate banking, lending and their financial department into a space which allowed banking customers an opportunity to shop for services. This was accomplished by creating an internal street with the atmosphere of a village. Windows and signage echoed some of the themes one would see in the lower village.
